Kiran is disturbed by her growing lesbian desire for the effervescent Delilah, in an idyllic Indian village where arranged marriage is the only acceptable form of coupling. She expresses her growing attraction to her by helping Rajan, a mutual friend, write love letters to Delilah in the hopes of marrying her. However, Delilah instinctively knows that Rajan is not capable of writing such poetic letters and confronts Kiran by confessing her mutual attraction.
